Do you know of a menstrual product that can be used with tampons or pads?
I saw a product once (several years ago, perhaps in 2002) that stated it could be used with tampons or with pads. It looked sort of like a very small but thicker oval shaped pad and I got the impression it was to be inserted in the vagina near the outside. This way, if it was used with a tampon, any leaking would be absorbed. If used with a pad, it would reduce the amount of flow that goes into the pad, making everything neater and reducing the frequency of changes you need to do during the day.
I am really regretting not trying this when I saw it, because I can’t find it anywhere, nor any info with a google search. I am also interested in the reusable cups (e.g. diva cup) but I want to be clear that that product is very different from the one I’m asking about. I wonder if there was a recall or something that that’s why I am not finding information on this product.
Thanks for any help with alternatives to cups, pads, and tampons.
