Action Recoil
what is the best brand of bolt action rifle regarding accuracy & better recoil ? I was thinking of Tikka T3?
am also thinking of monting it with simmons optic seriously . thanks
Depends:
What caliber? Which stock/barrel on the T3?
Keep in mind that the T3 is a lightweight rifle, and so the bigger the booom, the more recoil you will endure. However, the accuracy of the Tikka is very very good.
Also, check out the new Marlin bolt action. High quality barrel and action with features “borrowed” from the best of the other manufacturers. It, too is a synthetic stock, but if you go with the .270, the recoil should not be super horrible. These are called the XL7, USA made, and very accurate for the money (around 320 bucks), which you won’t find that good outside of something called Savage.
I would stay away from the Remington entry levels, but then again, support USA made rifles, IMHO.
Whatever the case, you should select a rifle that feels good to YOU.

As far as optics go, like you will hear elsewhere, get a name brand and invest in quality. Spend about half of what you bought the rifle for, if you can.
