Smith and Wesson 617 verusus Taurus 94 .22lr?
Is the Smith and Wesson worth the extra $300+? A Taurus 94 is a 9 shot revolver with questionable quality but comes with a warranty that seems decent especially since Beretta recently took over Taurus and is honoring the warranties for service problems. On the other hand I could just save up for a smith and wesson 617 .22lr that is alot higher quality, 10 shots. This is just going to be a 4 inch plinker but I want something with a comfortable trigger pull and ive heard bad things about Taurus. I’m going to the range tomorrow and I’ll prob rent a smiith and wesson for $10 because the gun costs about $670 so its worth investing alittle money just to see if it fits my hand comfortably. Anyways any Taurus 94 owners with thoughts on the trigger? I want a single/double action revolver,
I’m sorry beretta bought Stoeger. It appears that Smith and wesson was a “sister” company of taurus for awhile. anyways the lifetime repair warranty looks great….
I’ve never fired the Taurus 94 but I own a S&W 617 and love it.
