vintage louis vuitton handbag?

My mother in law passed away a year ago. As my husband was cleaning her house he found a vintage Louis Vuitton which according to him his father bought it for his mom back in the 1970′s when they would often travel to Europe. I do know back @ that time LV would licence the French Co. to sell LV’s. & these did not include a date or code. It is a very strong bag w/hardware indicating “talon” or Patent 0″ & the leather has turned a little dark/redish brown on the edges. ( I called LV & since there’s no code/date, there’s no way to trace it specially since LV often discontinues their bags) Does anyone has a vintage LV who can possibly help me find out if indeed this is a real LV?

I could prob tell you if it was real if you posted pics but there’s no way for me to tell you. The best thing to do is to go on to ebay and search “vintage Louis Vuitton” and compar your bag to the other vintage bags for sale. Also if you’re saying it’s a vintage french company bag the inside tag should say “french company” also the leather handles will be real leather and have a very dark patina.
