why do women want a buffalo when you bring home a tasty rabbit? shoes, diamonds and mating rituals connection?
I do not get it. Women like worthless things. Diamonds are pieces of worthless rocks that some people got together and decided that they were expensive…lets sell them to the stupid. Shoes are nothing more than the skin of a dead cow painted on. Some of the expensive ones actually deform your feet. But yet, a woman will mate with you, putting her life at risk with pregnancy, lose virginity, reputation and respect, endure years of abuse for a worthless piece of rock and some jimmy choo cow hide. In parts of Africa, diamonds lay on the ground unattended. Gold is a play thing for children. their value is only in the mind of westerners. What is the rationale? What is the connection between a woman and gold and diamond and shoes to divorce and marriage and love. look at dogs…eat, sleep, hunt, mate..no jimmy choo. if you hunt a tasty rabbit, why woman want buffalo? One answer, because women like good lie than truth?
That sounded more like a vent than a question, but I will try and answer for you.
if you look at from a animalistic way in western culture have put worth in these things.
Females of any species always look for the strongest, fastest ( these are the attributes of a strong provider), in western culture the attributes have changed but still for the same reason – it comes down to fitness and bank account.
These things” the status symbol” show off that they have a good provider, the bigger the diamond ring the more alpha the male. … plus were attracted to shiny things. ( animals do it too though just look at the lyre bird, the male steals blue items from everywhere and decorates the nest with it as he feels it attracts the female.)
Fact of the matter though is males do it too in there own way, genetics features (hot bodies) and weather the female can be dominated easily have become 2 large measurements for me picking partners. Not the fact of good genetics and survivability.
Don’t think all women are like this though, fact of the matter is there is always different breeds in the same species.
you just need to find the one your compatible with.
