Why do people have to vandalise other’s belongings?
My dad, who has had an odometer on his bike for many, many years, parked it outside to go shopping, padlocked up and everything, only to come back to find someone had wrenched off his odometer, which was firmly attached to the bike handles, leaving behind the magnet, cable and what was left of the bracket that attached it.
My question is this.
Why would someone do that if it is never going to be of use to them? They probably threw it in the bush just down the road.
Is there some psychological reasoning behind this insane crime?
Some people in this world do not care how others feel. Some don’t feel any sympathy for others or their belongings. Once people in the world finally understand the golden rule and feel sympathy, this kind of stuff will come to an end.
People are bored.
Some find it funny, some find it amusing.
One day, people will find it more amusing to help people, other than to inflict pain and damage.
All in all, some people don’t care.
Never do something immoral, that you would hate happen to you.
