Is it safe to order kitchen cabinets online?
I want to order kitchen cabinets online, but I am not sure about it. I don’t want to order something that looks great online, but awful when I get them at home.
The problem might be in measuring and making sure the cabinets you order are the right size. With ordering something like this online, you really don’t know what you’re getting until the product arrives. If you know someone who has purchased the same products online, you could at least hear what they have to say and perhaps actually see the product.
Most big box stores, like Sears, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. have “stock” cabinets, which can be purchased on the spot, rather than having to have them special order from a cabinet company.
I found out that Habitat for Humanity in my city sells ready made, new kitchen cabinets. They have a catalog, and I understand the prices are very good. That might be worth looking into.
I have new cabinets, but I got them from Lowe’s. I bought the Diamond Reflections, and they are beautiful. This brand is a Lowe’s exclusive. My tiny kitchen called for some custom cabinets, and it worked out well. I knew about the Habitat for Humanity products, but I didn’t look. If you had a standard size kitchen, that might be the way to go.
