Where is it cheaper to ship a guitar through (with hard case) UPS or USPS?

I don’t know how much it weighs or the case all I know its that it weighs more with the case since its a hard case. I will ship it from Southern California; Anaheim, CA to North Carolina.

UPS is cheaper.

The post office is going to measure the case since it is so big and that is going to jack it up A LOT!

UPS is going to measure it regardless but you get $100 automatic insurance on it. So that is the bonus part. You can figure out how much weighs by weighing yourself then holding it (with the case). Minus the difference and you have a rough estimate.
