Charter Arms

Charter arms rimless revolvers?
They come in .40 S&W 9mm and .45 acp,I don’t see the point.
Why would someone take a revolver in these calibers over a semi?
Im not a revolver hater,I love good old .357s and .44s but with a .45 why would you not get a 1911?
With a 9mm why not get a Beretta fs92?
If it is a size reason why not get a sub compact springfield xd?
If you buy .45 or 9mm ammo in bulk, it makes sense to be able to use it in as many guns as possible (there aren’t any screaming deals on bulk .40 most of the time).
Also, if you’re carrying a snub nose revolver as a back-up, you can make an argument that having it in the same cartridge as your service piece makes good sense.
But, in general, I get your point.
