Can you pls. explain the pros and cons of fixed, collapsible, and folding stock for a rifle. thanks.?

the collapsible and folding stocks are going to be lighter so there will be more recoil from the gun, but on the other hand they can make it smaller. for all intents and purposes, the fixed stock is going to be the best bet, its the most sturdy and will limit recoil the most. the other two would be mostly for asthetics
