Question about MP sidearms?
What sidearm does the Army issue, and do you get to choose? Ive seen SIG P229s, Colt 1911A1 Govt issues, and Barettas on a few soldiers.
Also if I purchase my own sidearm can I use it? I want a glock 21 but i want to have it with me when Im working.
Also provided I can have this firearm with me on duty, can I deploy with the same weapon?
We use the M-9 Beretta. We cannot use any other sidearm. The only (lucky) ones that still use the M-1911A1 are the Special Forces guys.

God, how I wish we’d never capitulated to NATO and went with the 9mm round. Ugh.
