What is the best 1911 variant?
i was wondering what the best 1911 variant is. i know there are a lot, which makes it harder for me to decide. i am in love with the original Govt. 1911A1 that was used in WWII (i’m sure they were used in other wars, but i am a WWII fanatic) i went to the colt website thinking that they would still have the same (or similar) product and found the Colt 1991, which i researched for a bit and a lot of people basically said it’s junk. so what IS the best performing 1911 remake? (looking for ones that also closely resemble the 1911A1, i don’t like the futuristic fancy look of some of them such as Hi-Caps.
Also:: is there any possible way for left handed configuration?
In no particular order, Les Baer, Kimber, Wilson Combat, and Para Ordinance. All of these folks make quality 1911 pistols. Get ready to dig deep in your pocket, they are not cheap.
