colt officers model blue 1911 or sig p6?

want to buy my first gun. the Colt 1911 for 800 bucks or the sig p6 for 350?

Depends on which Colt. Based on the price, I’m guessing you are looking at an imported, used Sig P6 from a place like www.jgsales.com. I’ve been eye-balling those myself and will probably get one this year.

The Sig is a great value and at those prices, it’s a great way to get one into just about anyone’s collection.

The Colt can be great or average, depending on year made and model. Will need more details before I waste writing an essay on them.
