Is it against the law to wear US Military ACU’s in the UK?
I have bought a ACU digital combat jacket & trousers & Danish/Nato Army Desert Boots from a Army surplus store in the UK and bought just the US Reverse ACU Color flag badge to go on my right shoulder. Is this illegal to wear in public or for work gear?? (With no rank or profession). ??
It would be illegal to wear UK military uniforms because, unless you are an actor actually working, you would be considered to be “impersonating”.
You can wear foreign military uniforms because they have no status here – unless you were deliberately attempting to “impersonate” for some nefarious purpose. Plenty of people wander around with Deutsche Bundeswehr uniforms without any problems so I can’t see than American ones would be an issue.
