Ear Plug
Is there anything that can block noise better than an ear plug?
The people who live below me have loud voices. It is not that they want to be loud but thats how their voices are and our hardwood floors doesnt help with blocking their voices. I tried ear plugs and white noise machines and both, can’t block out their noise. Is there a more effective method?
my problem is that the people downstairs talk at 3 am in the morning and it’s keeping me awake
Hearing protectors or “ear muffs” are much more effective at noise reduction than ear plugs. However I don’t think that is the solution you want. Try putting some area rugs around and see if that helps. Carpeting is much more sound deadening than hardwood.
