Want to know the top 20 sports in America?
Without much doubt, the 5 at the top should definitely be here, but what about the others?
- American Football – There is no doubt that this is the number one, the Super Bowl says it all.
- Baseball – This is sometimes referred to as the number one sport, but American football gets more subscribers.
- Basketball – America has teams in the NBA, the most around the world.
- Hockey – Although not an American Based sport this has been a fast growing one.
- Golf – Well what made this big, let me think, oh yeah – Tiger Woods.
- Wrestling – Americans gather in their millions to watch this, but is it a real sport.
- Tennis – Well, Venus and Serena kind of say it all really, plus the likes of Roddick.
- Skateboarding – America launched this sport from nothing to everything, now being taken up around the world.
- Surfing – Enjoyed by all around the world, but made great by America.
- Ice Skating – Although you may not have really thought about it, it is quite a big one.
- Boxing – Doesn’t happen enough, otherwise it would be higher in the list.
- Soccer – Needs more work, but this sport is beginning to grow, the Americans just need a little shove.
- Archery – Well when you have the likes of Geena Davis, your guaranteed to get a medal.
- Volleyball – What a great sport, all you need to do is watch and your happy.
- Cycling – Has been in the sport world for a while now, and has taken off, but not as much as others.
- Track and Field – Americans have always taken this seriously and produced some great Athletes.
- Horse Racing – A great sport, loved by all mainly for betting, but the riders do well to.
- Rock Climbing – A sport for all to enjoy, indoors or outdoors, much fun to be had, and in great American scenery.
- Extreme Sports – Anything that is considered by normal people to be very dangerous.
- Auto Racing – If i were to mention all of them, they would take up most of the list, but bring on Monster Truck.
