Is it legal for a field hockey goalie to play with no pads?
obviously a field hockey goalie needs pads and her equiptment to play. But i was wondering if the goalie forgot her stuff and for some reason the coach was letting her play anyways, would the refs not let her play because its illegal?(For indoor field hockey too.)
You can play with a kick back goalie. This player must wear a different color jersey and a helmet. They have the same powers as a normal goalie so long as they are in the circle. This past Fall Northwestern pulled their goalie when playing against Michigan State. A corner was called against Northwestern and they used a normal field player with a helmet as the goalie.
