Flat Dark

Can birthmarks appear spontaneously? I’m talking about just plain, flat dark birthmarks-?

I am getting them on face-they aren’t freckles, I am olive skinned and these are dark and round and of varying sizes

If they’re just appearing, they’re not birthmarks. Birthmarks are there since birth. It might be a beauty mark or something.
