Fobus Glock

I want to know some good concealed carry rigs for a G36 Glock.?
I have a Fobus and i like it for normal carry i cannot see it with slacks or dress shirt. Am i going to be limited to a shoulder rig ? i am interested in the inside the waistbad…any users have experience with the inside the waist band?
There are a wide variety of concealed carry devices ranging from barely concealed to almost impossible to detect without a metal detector, and a wide variety of IWB holsters.
I’m not all that hip on Fobus, but Side Armor make some nice stuff http://www.sidearmor.com/cart/customer/home.php?cat=12
There are lots of people out there making similar things though.
Some people find Leather IWB holsters to be more comfortable, some people perfer kydex. Most of the traditional holsters are for either strong side hip or small of the back. SoB carry can be a problem if you get knocked over backwards as landing on a gun hurts. Strong side carry is the most common, and it’s where most people look.
Either way carrying 3-4 extra pounds on your belt and tight up against your hip/waist takes some getting used to.
Other alternatives include the “apendix” carry, just forward on the right hip inside the waistband. the draw from here is fast as heck and just involves the arms and hands, no shoulder involvement so you do it with less motion. That said, it’s mostly for people with flatter stomachs or those who can wander around all day with their shirt untucked (you can tuck the shirt in, but only with the aforementioned flat stomach.
One Source Tactical has a couple holsters designed specifically for this carry:

There is also crossdraw, which is really useful when seated, and you can find those holsters everywhere.
Other options include “fanny packs”, ranging from the bloody obvious to small ones like this:

And your odd little camelbak goblin:

Sticking with the Camelbak theme we also have the goblin:

There are also a wide variety of off the body carries, like almost every back Maxpedition makes (http://www.maxpedition.com), and Coronado Leather (Coronado Leather) makes a wide variety of handbags (for the ladies) briefcases, backpacks and vests.
Oh, yeah, vests. Some companies make jackets an vests that have holsters built in, but these often leave a little to be desired in terms of retention (so I’m told, I’ve never used one).
Avoid ankle holsters, the draw is fugly and they suck at retention. Not that you’d find one to fit a G36, but I’m just sayin…
Ultimately it’s impossible for a stranger on the internet to be able to suggest a good CCW rig as we don’t know your size, normal clothing (oddly enough it’s a lot easier to hide gun under shorts and a t-shirt than it is under dress trousers, shirt and tie) and just how “concealed” you have to be.
