How do I adjust the windage on folding leaf sights?

If the sight is a dovetail, tap the sight in the direction you want the bullet to impact. Use a wooden dowel or a synthetic punch. Do not use a steel punch as this will leave a mark. If you know how much each mark of elevation raises the point of impact, this can be used as a guide for how much to move the dovetail.
If the rear sight is fixed, the front sight will need to be moved in the opposite direction you want the bullet to impact.
