Folding Stock

Does a shotgun count for legal purposes as a pistol in Texas if it has a pistol grip and/or folding stock?

I have heard this a few times now but no one can provide any links either way. If anyone has a link that can help, or has specific knowledge of this issue, please help!

no its considered a sbs (short barreled shotgun) or aow (any other weapon)
different animals all together from pistols
