9mm vs. 40 S&W, which would you get a Kel Tech sub 2000 in?
thinking about getting a Kel tech sub 2000. I have 2 questions that I need your help with.
1) should I get it in 9mm or 40 cal? I have a gun in 40 already so i can use the same ammo, or should I get it in 9mm since i don’t own anything in 9mm
2) Which pistol grip should I get it in? It comes in glock 17, glock 19, sig 226, kel tech grip, beretta 92 grip, etc
OH and i almost forgot, is this considered a “rifle” or will I have to register it as a handgun??
Get the Sub 2000 in 9mm and in glock 17 magazines.
9mm is a cheap round to buy for practice ammo, and if you want to use if for self defense there is really no difference between 9mm and 40 for stopping power. At this point in ballistic technology arguments over pistol calibers are worthless.
Glock 17 magazines because everyone and their brother has glock 17′s. Tons of police departments issue glock 17, the magazines are cheap and they work. Why glock 17 over 19, glock 17 magazines hold a few more rounds than the 19 but you can also stick a glock 18 magazine in there which holds 33 rounds.
Federally it is considered a rifle, it doesn’t need to be registered unless you live somewhere rifles have to be registered.
