Grip Sig

anyone ever hear of a sig p229 SAS with black grips?

just got one, unintentionally, and customer service said that factory ran out of wood grips and put regular 229 grips on it.
oh believe me I was pissed. I called them, and am happy to report that customer service was excellent. I have a set of wood grips in the mail. I was wondering how rare this gun might be.

It does not seem likely that Sig would ship out a gun from their custom shop without the custom grips that go with it. While I personally prefer the functionality of the black grips you are paying more to have custom wood ones. Unless you got the gun for a discounted price I would call Sig and ask them to send you wood grips, as your SAS came without.
