Gun Guard

Is there anything similar to a color guard rifle that isn’t a gun that i could use to practice?

Ok, so I’m going to be in Color Guard next year and I need something to practice with over the summer that isn’t a rifle. my mom doesn’t want me buying those things unless i bring one home from the school. But I need to practice over the summer so can you guys give me suggestions to something that’s similar to a rifle please? I would really appreciate it! Thank you!

What you can do is get a blank rifle stock (that’s just the wood “frame” without any parts in it such as the trigger, barrel, etc.) and use epoxy to secure a length of steel pipe in it that would approximate the size and weight of a real rifle. There are no restrictions on buying rifle stocks, no age minimum, and no license required. It shouldn’t cost more than $50 to $100 total, possibly less if you find an old or slightly damaged stock that’s unfit for a gun but fine for your needs.
