The gun safe reviews for the Gunvault biometric safe finds that the outside cover of this safe is made from 16 gauge steel and has a foam padded inner core. The door is spring-loaded and tamper resistant and it has an internal light to illuminate the contents inside of the vault.
In doing some searching on this vault for gun safe reviews we also discovered that it has an audio and blinking LED light to indicate when there is a low battery. Under normal use the battery lasts about a year. It also has an adapter so it has the ability to have AC or DC power to directly supply the unit but uses standard 9 volt batteries.
The reviews for the Gunvault Biometric gun safe were mixed with the average reviews rating this unit as a three out of five stars. This unit was designed to be able to open without needing to turn on the lights to open it. There were people who really liked this safe and others who were not happy with this unit with many stating that it has issues with the door either not closing properly or opening when it shouldn’t. One person said that the when the door opens it pops open and actually startles her every time she opens it.
Most people liked the larger interior space and the interior lighting and stated that the construction of the body seemed solid. Several people had issues with the door reporting that it would not lock or would not close flush and clean. One reviewer also reported that when he bumped the safe on the top of the safe, it opened. Which is definitely not what you want a safe to do, ever! Another person used a Phillips screwdriver to adjust the height of the door and to adjust the foam inside the vault to get the door to work properly for him.
All of the reviews we found on the Gunvault were all over the scale when it came to rating this gun safe because it seemed that the users experiences were vastly different with some rating this unit as an excellent choice others rating it an okay buying choice and still others disappointed in this unit. It is difficult to recommend this safe as it seems that you may or may not get a good unit.
