Hard Lockable

Where can I find info. about a 2005 HD 1200 Sportster? Do they have anything like CARFAX for motorcycles?

If not, what is your opinion about it? 2005 HD 1200 Sportster, 13000 miles, hard lockable leather saddle bags, snap off windshield, screaming eagles, extended warranty until 2011, price $8030 out the door.

liferyder has his ducks lined up good to what he’s sayin. i own this particular bike, and i can tell u its a very strong runner out of the box, and is very reliable.
this bike that u are lookin at, from what u say, it already has the stage 1 and that will give it even more pep. the windshield and bags alone isnt cheap, and after the first 150 miles, u’ll appreciate the windshield. the s/e pipes are just a little louder than stock, not much tho, and these pipes alone are almost 250 bucks give or take.

as far as how this bike rides, i can say for 100% certainty that in the twisties u’ll love this bike. it has a very lightweight and nimble feeling, is rather forgiving, and will take what u throw at it up to the limits of the lean angle. i prefer running the shocks on the 2nd setting for the twisties; gives it a slightly stiffer ride, and i can slam this bike practically to the pegs in the corners with confidence. i would highly suggest u add (if the bike doesnt have it) add a sundowner seat. the stock seat sucks. i can ride 400 miles easy with my sundowner. grab this scoot, take it to the twisties, and enjoy.
