Does anyone really write to advice columnists or are all those fake?
It just seems to me that nearly every advice column’s “letter” follows a predictable and consistent format and they are always rather provocative and original. Are there that many people accidentally knocking up their boss’s daughters or finding hidden handguns under Thanksgiving Day tables? WTF?
Has anyone here ever truly experienced a bizarre situation and written to an advice columnist about it?
Ohhh, you’d be surprised. Take Yahoo Answers for instance: there are quite a few strange questions on this website, and they’re usually not fake (except when people are seeking attention).
But I do understand your point, I mean do people seriously tell advice columnists about their bizarre experiences, or is it just a trick by the editors to score more readers? The world may never know.
