What are some high quality, high performance headphone brands?

I want some high quality over ear headphones. I know a lot of people would say “Monster” but those are really expensive. Anything similar or better than monster, for a cheaper price?

Yeah, Beats are too expensive for what little they offer. You should probably go with these more professional an recognized high-performance audio brands:

You can see reviews on some of these brand’s headphones products on the very trusted and world-reknown DJ website, Skratchworx.com. In the sources section, I have given you specific links to their headphone group tests (reviews). Their reviews have never been doubted. I personally have a pair of Sony MDRV700DJ headphones, which I have never regretted purchasing, even though Scratchworx says they aren’t the best out there, but for the record, I’ve never tried any other DJ headphones, so who am I to judge?
