Leather Trunk
paint on leather/pleather? how about glossy paint on it?
Working on painting a trunk for a kid’s summer camp – it’s a leather like material. I typically use a gloss enamel on other craft projects (it’s a brand of model car paint actually) and the kid wants the same kind of shine to the paint without seeing the brush strokes like the enamel does. The local hobby store told me to use craft paint or water-based acrylic, but the brush marks show bigtime when I test this. Is there a way to paint a glossy style craft design on “pleather” without it showing every brush stroke mark? Hopefully this ? is conveyed well… anyway, thanks for any help you can provide!
