Can a put a different magazine in my airsoft gun?

So there’s a airsoft gun I want to buy because my friends and I want to do airsoft when we aren’t paintballing. The problem is, the magazine on the gun is a really low-cap magazine, and I hate having to reload all the time. So could I buy a higher cap magazine and put it on a gun it’s not intended for?

Buying additional magazines on a gun it is not intended for? Of course, not. e.g., AK47 mag for M4 gun. It is not possible.
You have to buy magazines that are intended for the unit or gun. There is no problem with the AK47 models since different magazines used on different AK47 manufacturer cause no worry. You can usually encounter fitting problems in M4. Tokyo Marui, Classic Army, Jing Gong and other good manufacturers almost have the same size of magazine. Only the A&K M4 uses a different size by certain mm. An A&K mag will not easily fit to JG, Classic Army or Tokyo Marui mag catch. On the other hand, JG, Classic Army and Tokyo Marui mags is somewhat loose when use in A&K.
