how much does it typically cost to replace the water main to your house?

My water like going from my house to the water main broke somewhere how much does it cost to get it replaced?

It all depends. If it is before your water meter, than most likely it’s the city’s problem and they should pay. if it’s after the meter, then it all depends on the way your house is built. if the main is running under the house then the cheapest will be if there is a crawl space or basement. If your house is slab on grade, then the floor is going to have to be jack hammered.
