Pressure = Force / Area

Given pressure and force, solve for area

A = F/P

A = (5.0E+4 N) / (1.7E+7 Pa)
A = 2.94E-3 m^2

A cylinder is V = pi * r^2 * h

Where pi * r^2 is the area of one end, which we have as A. Rearrange and solve for h

h = V / A

h = (1.0 m^3) / (2.94E-3 m^2)
h = 340 m
