AK-47 Question regarding stocks…?

I have an AK-47 with a TAPCO T6 six position collapsible stock, and i want to change the actual stock to a MAGPUL MOE stock i was wondering if the tapco tube will accommodate this transition and if so is it Military spec or commercial?

Nope. The Tapco T6 stock is cheap plastic (it rattles around) and has very little precision in the tolerances. I have it on mine, but since it’s an AK, it’s not a huge deal for me (the whole gun could rattle for all I care, it’s not as “precision” of a rifle as the AR).

You may be able to find an adapter that will give you an AR tube that fits onto the AK frame. This would allow you to use the MAGPUL stock.

If not, there’s always the side-folding skeleton stock, similar in design to the MAGPUL.
