How can i mount black (UV) lights under my car?
I dont care if its legal or not its only for show so everyones clothes light up as they walk past the car i want the lights to run from one tire to the other so u can see the bulb when standing next to the car so it works properly any on got any ideas?
You would have to find a fluorescent fixture that would be the right length and fabricate brackets and a shield that would protect a fluorescent tube from debris and road conditions. I would suggest getting a florescent fixture and taking it apart for parts. Mount the ballast and starter under the dash and mount the end brackets up at the top of the windshield on the headliner. Find a place for a switch and be ready for people to ooh and AH We did this on an 1987 Mazda convertible mini truck in 1988 the effect is really cool especially if you wear White. Tried mounting it under the car but the effect wasn’t as visible as we would have like so we remounted it above the windshield
