Muzzle Break
SKS muzzle break fits loosely?
I have an SKS muzzle break, it is installed properly, but there is some wiggle in the muzzle break by a couple centimeters.
Is this likely to affect my accuracy?
It’s not installed properly if it wiggles. I’m guessing that it is the kind that fits over top of the muzzle and clamps on with allen screws.
Myself personally, I’d remove it and throw it away. If I really wanted it to stay, which I don’t know why I would, I would tack weld it with 7018 rod. Either that or have the muzzle threaded to accommodate a better break.
