Peep Sight (not the compound bow type the rifle type)?

Is a red Dot Sight considered a peep sight if it isn’t what is…what about iron sights are they the same?

No, red dots have their own category, though they are electro-optical. Peeps, by the way are optical sights, which differentiates them from open sights (which most people call iron sights). Think of a peep as a 1x scope. Folks who don’t realize that little bit of trivia usually don’t use them properly (a lot of folks think you’re supposed to center the bead in the peep, which is improper), and subsequently don’t like them.
