How to sight in a compound bow?
i just bought a new bow, and it came with a three pin sight. i need to know if you move the pins individually or just move the entire sight
the guy at dicks told me not to move the pins if this is true why not
Shoot the bow and see how you hit. If you need to move the pins to sight it in better just move each pin individually. Start w/ the top pin and shoot from 15 yards. If you hit low, move the top pin down a little. If it hits high, move the pin up a little. Left/right adjustment is probably self explanatory when you look at the sight. Set your next pin to 25 yards. and the other remaining pin to 35 yards. and you should be able to adjust while sighting for any yardage between 15 and 35 yards. Practice at varying yardage to get to know your sight. 10 yards, 19 yards, 27yards, etc. Mix it up a little and challenge yourself. Good Luck!!
