Fallout 3 Game Of The Year Review
The story
It is the year 2277 in the D.C wasteland 200 years after the civilization collapsed due to mass nuclear war, the world is barren and littered with nuclear waste. The people have been stuck in underground bunkers because there’s too much danger “out there” in the outside world, it;s infested with mutants, mutant animals and anarchy. In vault 101 (bunker) there is a young man wondering what it’s like to roam the “outside”. meanwhile the vault people or his comrades are becoming tired and restless with the corrupt leaders that rule the bunker with strict rules. The lone wolf wakes up one day only to find his father is missing, he makes up his mind that he has to go outside and look for him. One day the people has had had enough of this vault, they start to stand up to the law, they gather up their homemade weapons and chaos ensues and riots break out. The lone wolf young man sees this as an opportunity to break out and explore that bad outside world. Coming strait out of vault 101 the lone youngster is left out on his own to explore capitol wasteland, which is a post apocalyptic mess. The lone wanderer’s main mission is to find his father and ask why he left, without a goodbye.
My opinion
First of all I want to tell you that I’m not into RP-G’s, But this game is a huge exception, I love this game.There are over 100 locations to discover from one big world(over 50 hours of play). The graphics are a beautiful post apocalyptic mess, From the start you cross your path with all kinds of fugly mutants that want to eat your flesh, raiders who want to break your bones and paint their walls with your blood and all kinds of goodies, as the game progresses you character gains more power, experience and knowledge so you can kill with more skill. this game has one of the best soundtracks (40′s jazz). There are dozens of weapons spread over all capitol wasteland for you to find ranging from pistols, rocket launchers,, grenades, even a damn Nuke Launcher. you could also create weapons with extra parts you find on your quests, like the rock-it-launcher that shoots everything under the radar like teddy bears yes you read it right teddy bears!!! at hundreds of miles per hour that is and that’s just the original game.
This title also comes with all five down loadable maps in one CD

witch are about 30 more hours of game play!!
