Presentation Grips
How do I get over this nervous reaction when giving presentations?
I had to give a presentation to a group of people and I had to use a laptop for it.
My hands suddenly started shaking and I couldnt type anything properly
It was so embarrassing and I had to grip the laptop cause my hands just kept shaking and everyone could see it
My boss said that hed type for me but then changed his mind and said I should do it
Once I got going I was fine and it went well but its unnatural what happens to me and I cant control it
Its like soemthing takes over my body and im having a reaction to it.
I dont think classes would help as its more of a internal reaction than a confidence problem as when i started i was well able to speak and knew what to say
There is only 1 way…. practice. The more you do the better you get, the less you worry and the less of a nervous reaction you will get. Throw yourself into it and face your fears, you will undoubetdly find that there is nothing to worry about.
