what kinda of sight can fit a promag archangel 10/22 stock?
i bought a 10/22 archangel promag stock and attached it but it didnt cme withany kind of sights. the scope i had wont fit the rail and the dot sight i bought wont shine in the day time ( its a leapers red/green dot sight) and ive looked around and no ordinary scopes at stores fit the rail. is there any cheapish scope that will?
Get a sight rail that attaches directly to the gun. This is available from any Ruger dealer. Rails attached to the stock move relative to the gun and should only be used for attaching flashlights and accessories.
If your dot sight isn’t bright enough to be seen in daylight, either the sight is defective the battery is too low, or you need to adjust the brightness control on the sight.
If the stock has a Picatinny rail, which is usual for these military-looking stocks, you need to fit a Weaver or Picatinny scope mount. Most .22 scopes and sights fit the narrower .22 mount. The Ruger scope rail will fit either type.
