Quad Rail

could i run a 8800gs on a 300w power supply with a 12v rail at 19A?
i have a single core 3800+
2.5 gigs of ram (ddr1)
and the 8800gs was rated on a system with a quad core, and the rating required 400w with 22 amps so i come pretty close with a single core i think.
No,
It will cause the Video card to crash on heavy load (and might damage it).
Give it a try, and upgrade your PSU if you want

Might be a good idea, because 8800GT 512MB overclock is on sale for only $140. The card can also OC to 800Mhz core.
