Remington 870 Police Mag upgrades…?

I have recently purchased this shotgun and love it but… i am curious as to what are some cool additions to make to it. Its soul mission is work (armored truck)/home defence… as of now i have: surefire light forend, ghost sights, mesatactical sidesaddle with top rail, specter gear 3-point sling… i am planning on buying the mesa recoil absorbing stock next… is there any real need for a scope on a shot gun? or is that only for hunting? what is a good laser unit out there? hat can i do to give it more of an AR-15 type look? can i put a AR carry handle without messin up the ghost sights? is there suck a thing as a custom “banana” style magazine for a shotgun? any/all suggestions are welcome… thanks all!

There is really no need for telescopic sights on a shotgun at all due to the spread of the shot. However, if you are not happy with the current sights I would suggest a parallex-free red dot sight, available at around 50.00-75.00GBP. A laser pointer would be unnecessary but if you have your heart set on one I would suggest visiting uttings.com and seeing if they have anything sutible there. I would not suggest putting on an AR-15/M16 style carry handle as it would add extra bulk. As for a ‘banana’ style magazine, I assume you mean a STANAG magazine, such as the ones on assault rifles. It is possible to get these but not for a Remington 870. Fully automatic and selective fire shotguns such as the M26 MASS/XM26 LSS, however, these are military issue and are not avalible to the public.
