Rail System
How much would it have cost to build a high speed rail system in America?
Would it have created a lot of jobs? Stimulated the economy?
I’ve wondered over the years why the U.S. doesn’t have a high speed rail system similar to Europe’s. It would also be a ‘green’ mode of travel wouldn’t it?
The amount would have to include the graft / payola. the green people wouldn’t allow the mining & refining of the steel, copper , aluminium & glass. The manufacturing of the textiles for the seat covers & the plastic trim would also have to be produced in the emerging markets. So no it wouldn’t be a stimulus for OUR economy & the employment created temporary. Automation & Terrorism make it foolish at this time.
