what can i attach on a airsoft gun with RIS rail systems attached?

i’m looking at buying a rifle for airsoft and it says it has RIS but what is that compatible with? i want to get a different scope for it cuz the one it comes with is trash.. the new one i want to get has weaver rail mounts… will i be able to attach this scope or are the two rail systems not compatible?

Weaver rail mounted items are compatible with picatinny rails, but not the other way around. So you can get that scope for your gun, and not have to worry about compatibility issues. There are many other accesories you can attach to these rails, such as vertical grips, flashlights, lasers, grenade launchers, and flashlights to name a few.
