What model/type of ink spool do I need for my Remington portable typewriter? And where can I get one?
I own a Remington Portable, model two. (Pretty sure. Might be a model one, but probably not.) I don’t have the ribbon or the spools or anything, and I need to know what I’m looking for and where to look. 
This site has possibilities. You’ll probably need to call their customer service number since you don’t have the old spools.

Once you know what ribbon you need, check your local office supply stores (Staples, Office Max, etc.) – some of them actually carry ribbons.
