Rifle Storage

Will my rifle be harmed from this kind of storage?

I don’t have one of those gun case where you can store the rifles in like a safe cabinet. So I am wondering if I store the gun in its rifle bag with a lock on it, will it harm the rifle from suffocation?

would suggest some other form of storage…..

most bags tend to trap moisture and cause surface rust if left for long periods of time…..

silica packs help and will sometimes keep this form happening but to me its just not worth the risk…..

since leaning it against the wall would be better for the firearm

** but if u plan to store it for a long time use gungrease and lube it up really well inside and out and this should prevent any issues…..tho u will need to clean the grease off when u want to use it again

** btw locking a bag doesn’t really help with anything but small children since anyone can cut a bag open with a knife……so kinda pointless…
