Dehumidifier in a gun safe?

I just bought a full size fire proof used gun safe. It came with a plug in style rod dehumidifier.

Is it getting warm? That’s how you know it’s working. I keep mine on the floor of the gunsafe. Do not allow it to come into contact with any rifle stocks and you’ll be fine.
