Hello, does anyone know If Airport water is safe to drink after security?
I am going away soon, ad I want to cheat the airports and not have to spend copious amounts of money on drinks etc, so after security I plan on taking empty bottles and filling them up. Therefore I won’t have to pay for drinks and I will take cereal bars with me too. So is the water safe to drink after security?
all depends on the quality of the airport and whether or not there’s water quality warnings in the area at the time.
Personally, I carry an empty water bottle with me whenever I travel, then just fill it up at the water fountains after security. I’ve done that for multiple international flights, and dozens of local flights. No worries. It might raise some red flags if you carry a dozen of empty bottles with you though. I’d just carry a couple, then refill them.
Water is free on the flight, so don’t worry about that.
