how much would a used ruger security six cost?
4″ barrel in good condition. not necessarily excellent, but good.
blued or stainless steel. it doesn’t matter.
They run from anywhere in the low $300 to high $400 range around here. The Security Six is an excellent robust gun that was the predecessor to Ruger’s GP 100 line of revolvers. If you end up with one I think you will be very pleased by it.
I am contemplating either outright purchasing a stainless steel model or trading a blued model for the stainless.
I think that a fair realistic price on one of these guns should be right at about $325-$375. This is for a blued model. Stainless steel are usually stickered about $30- $70 more than blued steel guns..
