Shooting Earmuff

hearing protection when shooting .223′s?

is it better to have earplugs and earmuffs or both?
will adding muffs make it better?

Either one will be fine, I prefer electronic muffs my self. Shooting any kind of firearm, you should wear some kind of hearing protection from a ,22 lr to a M2 BMG.
